Tonbridge Road and Camp Hill, Chiddingstone mains replacement

We are investing in an important water mains renewal project in the Chiddingstone area to secure safe and reliable drinking water supplies for homes and businesses.

The current water mains, which are from 1974, have now reached the end of their operational life.

The project will involve laying approximately 1.5 km of new main along Tonbridge Road and part of Camp Hill, starting from the junction of Hampkins Hill Road. Our Keeping your water flowing booklet explains the four stages needed to lay a water main and answers some key questions you may have.
