Charges are calculated based on the Retail Price Index (RPI) plus an additional amount to enable us to fund particular investments into our assets. Our regulator, Ofwat, determines what this amount should be.
If you have a water meter, you are only charged for the water you use (in cubic metres) and will receive a bill twice a year.

If you do not have a water meter, you'll be charged for your water based on the 'Rateable Value' which is the annual rental value of your property set out by Inland Revenue in 1990, which we are required to use for customers who are not on a water meter.
