Picketts Lane, Redhill - water main connection

Roadworks

Due to the location of the existing water main, and a number of other utilities already in the ground, we will be required to work within the highway. Therefore, we will be setting up two-way traffic signals, which will keep residents, motorists and our workforce safe whilst we make the new connection. Due to the narrow nature of the road we have chosen to use a trenchless technique, known as directional drilling to lay the new water main. Directional drilling is less intrusive than the more traditional open cut method.

Water supply

Your water supply is unlikely to be affected but if we anticipate any supply interruption, we will contact customers directly.
