Orchard Drive and Close - Edenbridge mains replacement

Now that lockdown restrictions are being eased, and in line with government advice, we are able to re-start our mains replacement programme and have been able to implement even safer working procedures to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19. 

We re-started work on 17 August 2020 and we plan to finish by end of October.

Start date: 24 February 2020 

End date: End of October 2020

Working hours: When possible, our delivery partner Clancy Docwra will be working 7:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. However, these hours may vary depending on weather conditions, daylight and staff availability. If off peak or weekend working is required, we will update this page.

Due to the location of the existing water main and a number of other utilities already in the ground, we will be required to work in the public highway. Therefore, traffic management will be required to keep residents, motorists and our workforce safe. We plan on using give and take or temporary traffic lights to manage the traffic, depending on the complexity of the section.
