Hooley Lane - Redhill mains replacement

Working hours: When possible, our delivery partner Murphy will be working 7:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. However, these hours may vary depending on weather conditions, daylight and staff availability. If off peak or weekend working is required, we will update this page.

 

Due to the location of the existing water main, we will need to work in the public highway. To keep residents, motorists and our workforce safe we have to put traffic management systems in place. The work will involve a closure of the inside lane on the A217 northbound carriageway for 7 days, followed by a closure of  the outside lane for 2 days. 

The works on the inside lane are to install the pressure reducing valve and the works on the outside lane are to renew manhole covers.

Information boards will be visible in the affected areas prior to the works being implemented.
