The first section of Old Reigate Road has been laid, tested and properties are now being connected. Once works have completed in this section we have approximately 90m of mains laying outstanding (east of Kiln Lane junction), that will require a change in diversion route. Advanced warning will be in place before any change of traffic management/diversion.

The existing water mains in this area were laid back in 1892 and have now reached the end of their operational life. The new water main will secure, safe and reliable drinking water supplies for homes and businesses for many years to come.
The project will involve laying approximately 890m of new main along Old Reigate Road. Our Keeping your water flowing booklet explains the four stages needed to lay a water main and answers some key questions you may have.
