Logmore Lane, Dorking - water main connection

COVID-19 update 07 August 2020

Now that certain lockdown restrictions are being lifted, we are resuming mains replacement work that can be carried out in a safe way, in line with the Government’s latest advice. The safety and wellbeing of our staff and our customers is of the utmost importance to us and we have been able to implement the necessary extra precautions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Read more information about our response to COVID-19.

Roadworks
Due to the location of the existing water main, and a number of other utilities already in the ground, we will be required to work within the highway. Therefore, we will be setting up a road closure along Logmore Lane which will keep residents, motorists and our workforce safe whilst we make the new connection. 

Road closures are used when we are unable to provide the required legal distances around our works. Traffic will be diverted as per this route, however we will maintain access for residents and emergency vehicles.

Water supply

Your water supply is unlikely to be affected but if we anticipate any supply interruption, we will contact customers directly.

Planned start date – Tuesday 1 September 2020 
Planned end date – Saturday 5 September 2020
