SES Water's helping hand for customers this Christmas

22/12/21

More than £1,500 has been donated by SES Water to buy Christmas presents for some of its most vulnerable customers.

The Company, which supplies water to parts of Surrey, Kent, West Sussex and south London, gave all its employees a gift voucher for Christmas. Staff were then offered the choice of either keeping their vouchers or donate them towards buying a hamper for customers. In total an impressive £1,575 was donated.

The hampers will include a selection of food such as chopped tomatoes, tinned fruit, mince pies and some treats to keep the cupboards stocked during the festive period.

SES Water’s Head of People, Sarah Brown, said: “We want to say a huge thank you to our employees who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic, and it’s great to see so many of them choosing to donate the money to benefit our customers.

“Christmas can be a tough time for some and giving a hamper is just a small gesture to let our customers know we are there for them.

“We’re delivering them today and Thursday to some of our customers and hopefully we’ll brighten their day.”

SES Water offers a range of financial support schemes through its ‘Here For You’ programme to help those who may be struggling financially. The Company also provides a Priority Services Register for its vulnerable customers to provide extra support when it’s needed most. To sign up please visit: seswater.co.uk /priority.
