SES Water announces partnership with Pride In Surrey

As part of Pride month, SES Water is proud to be partnering with Pride In Surrey for the first time, providing its high-quality water to those attending the community group’s annual event.

This year the Pride In Surrey event takes place on Saturday 9 September 2023, starting with a march through Reigate town centre and ending up in Priory Park. More than 8,000 people are expected to take part in the march.

The water company will have its 11,000 litre ‘Quenchinator’ tanker stationed in the park, ready to keep all the attendees hydrated, as well as a stand giving out free water saving devices and advice. This support from SES Water will allow Pride In Surrey organisers to reduce single-use plastic, enhancing the local environment and making the event as sustainable as possible.

The partnership forms part of the SES Water’s wider community engagement programme, which in the past year has seen the Company partner with several other key local events, including: East Surrey YMCA Fun Run, Run Reigate, Run Gatwick, and the EcoFair in Carshalton.

By using the water supplied by SES at the event, we aim to encourage visitors to bring along their refillable bottles and help reduce overall waste, while staying hydrated and proud!”
